Basic:

    - referee is responsible for these 5 minutes
    - counting on till end of 25', no max score

- at 25' signal match ends after the ball in play

- finals: 2 winning sets (25/25/15)

- follow the results on: results

Rules:

- normal volleyball rules

- safety: replay the point if a second ball enters the court

- the referee has the final say. You are certainly allowed to express your disagreement, but accept with good sportsmanship that mistakes can happen, that the referee may not have seen something, or that he may have interpreted the situation differently.

- remember that:

  • New rule interpretation allowing double contacts during a setting action. A double contact (such as the ball spinning awkwardly off the setter's hands) is not a fault as long as the ball remains on your team's side of the court and is being set to a teammate.
    • A double contact on the second touch is only penalized if it is a "clear consecutive touch" (two distinct separate hits) or if the double-contacted ball accidentally travels over the net into the opponent's court.
  • The fundamental rule is that the ball must be strictly struck or bounced, never caught, held, or guided. A lift is penalized based on the duration of the contact, not how many times it hits the body.
    • 1: The Ball Comes to a Visual Stop ("Catching")
    • 2: Guiding or Pushing the Ball ("Throwing")
  • Only the receiving team is bound to strict rotational layout constraints at the moment of the serve. The serving team’s players can stand wherever they want on their side of the court.
    • Furthermore, back-row players still retain their back-row status and limitations (they cannot come forward to illegally block or attack above the net)
  • Screening
    • 1: Hands Must Stay Down: Players on the serving team are strictly prohibited from raising their hands above their heads from the moment the referee blows the whistle until the ball has completely crossed the net.
    • 2: No Grouping: Players cannot clump tightly together in a line or wave their arms to mask the server. If players are standing in a way that blocks the path of vision, or if a front-row player raises their hands, the referee will instantly call a screening fault and award a point to the opponents.
    • 3: The Exception: Only front-court players may put their hands behind their heads, exclusively for personal head protection against a low-driven
